JUAN C. SANCHEZ is a Resident Playwright at TPT. He studied theatre at New World School of the Arts and
Florida State University, where he was awarded a Joseph Papp Scholarship. He studied playwriting and
screenwriting with Janet Burroway. Buck Fever is his first play and was written under the mentorship of A.R.
Gurney, Leslie Ayvazian and Eduardo Machado.

MICHAELA CRONAN (Mary Jen) is so excited to be working with Promethean! It is a lovely thing to be
surrounded by such creative and talented artists. She was last on stage with her fellow cats in Action, where
she played Liza. Other Mad Cat credits include: Sloan in Trembling Hands, Joyce in the Carbonell nominated
Fell in Love With a Girl, Rose in Cope and Rachel in Shoot. She has also played Claudia in What the Rabbi
Saw at the Broward Stage Door. Film credits include: Water Over Wine by Tripper McShane and Man Killed
God by Nathan Rausch. Thank you Juan for allowing me to share in your icky play. I love it! Thank you to my
family and my love for your undying support. ONE LOVE
DAVID PEREZ_RIBADA (Gabriel) has been a part of several exciting productions in and around Miami for the
past four years. Most recently, David was proud to be a part of Aida at the Actor’s Playhouse. Other Actor’s
credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as Lefou, Gaston’s zany sidekick; Fiddler on the Roof as
Nachum the Beggar; Actors’ Playhouse Theatre For Young Audiences (Best Children’s Theatre, Miami New
Times Best of 2002, 2003) in several roles. David is also very proud to have been a part of the critically acclaimed
ensemble for the production of Tracers with the Juggerknot Theatre Company, which won a Carbonell for Best
Ensemble and was chosen Best Ensemble from the Miami Sun-Post. David was also a part of the World
Premiere cast of Anna in the Tropics (Juan Julian) by Nilo Cruz, which won the Pulitzer for Dramatic Literature
2003 and won Best New Play from The New Times Best of Miami 2003. Other credits with The New Theatre
include: Ensemble in Tom Walker ; Laertes in Hamlet ; Basilio in Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams,
nominated Best New Work Carbonells 2002. Other local credits include: the short but successful run of Nocturne
with the Modern Stage Company; Plays Of the Hood at Dreamers Theatre; Jake/Frankie in Durang, Durang at
Mosaic Theatre Company; Ryan in audio/video with the Juggerknot Theatre Company (Voted Best Black Box
Production, New Times Best Of Miami 2002; Nominated Best New Work, Carbonells, 2001); and two years with
the Coconut Grove Playhouse Education Department In School Touring Program. David also coaches acting for
children and adults at Roxy Performing Arts Center. He would like to say thank you to this cast and crew for an
amazing rehearsal experience; and a huge thank you to The Promethean Theatre for putting together such a
talented and loving group of people.


PAMELA ROZA (Estelle) is very happy to be returning to the Promethean Theatre stage so soon after this
summer’s Desdemona, in which she played Emelia. She is also very excited to be working once again with
Michaela Cronan and Pete Rogan, with whom she appeared in COPE at Mad Cat Theatre Company. Other
favorite South Florida performances include Theresa in Boy Gets Girl (Curtain Up ‘Best Actress’ Award, 2002
New Times Best of Miami ‘Best Actress’ as well as a Carbonell nomination) and Sharla in Killer Joe (Carbonell
Award for Best Supporting Actress) - both at GableStage, Skinny Woman (AKA la Flaca) in the Carbonell Award-
winning Sleepwalkers at Area Stage, and Medea Redux in BASH at Juggerknot Theatre Company (for which
Pamela received her second Carbonell Award). Thanks to Michalea, Pete and David for making this more play
than work; Deborah, Margaret and Beth for giving her this opportunity; Liz for being a one of the best darned
stage managers in the galaxy; Juan for challenging and believing in her; and Mark, for asking all the right
questions.

PETE ROGAN (Aaron) is thrilled to work with such a talented and committed enseble in his debut with the
Promethean. He received his BFA in Acting/Directing from Florida Atlantic University and completed MFA
coursework in Acting at University of California-Irvine. Pete is attempting a non-traditional pursuit as a bi-coastal
actor, splitting time bewteen Los Angeles and South Florida. In Los Angeles, Pete has appeared with the Los
Angeles Theatre Company, L.A. Shakespeare and the Foliage Theatre Project. Local audiences may have seen
him in Cope at Mad Cat and in Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar and Grill at Palm Beach Dramaworks. Pete
is looking forward to working with Paul Tei again on Hamlet for the GableStage educational tour, barring any
unforseen karaoke-induced knee injuries.
